Commercial Construction Estimator Orlando

MEC is looking to add a Commercial Construction Estimator for commercial jobs ranging in size from $1 to $30 million. The ideal applicant would have at least 5 years of experience in the construction field or an applicable degree. The applicant must have the ability to interface with both clients and subcontractors while estimating and / or managing projects. The ideal candidate would like to live long-term in the Orlando area and grow with the company.

An Estimator is responsible for taking a construction project from Design RFP to construction kickoff by calculating the cost of labor or materials required for a construction project, assisting in negotiating contracts with owners or owners' representatives, performing subcontractor selection and signup, and performing project handoff to the selected Project Manager / Superintendent team.

Salary : $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
