Job is hosted by Jobot. This role involves estimating costs for hospitality construction projects, including remodels, renovations, and ground-up builds. The candidate will play a crucial role in estimating costs for hospitality construction projects, with a focus on hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Proficiency in Take Offs, blueprint reading, and using Bluebeam software is required. A bachelor\'s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or an equivalent field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for hospitality construction projects.
• Review and interpret construction blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Utilize Bluebeam software for blueprint reading and take-offs.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and clients to gather all necessary information to produce comprehensive and accurate estimates.
• Evaluate and consider project-specific items, including labor costs, material quantities, equipment, and special construction methods.
• Participate in pre-bid reviews and bid strategy sessions.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and bid proposals.
• Provide continuous updates of estimated costs as project design, scope, and specifications change.
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for use in future estimates.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the construction industry, particularly in the hospitality sector.
