This position requires knowledge of departmental and hospital policies relevant to the delivery of emergency care. • Collects adequate and correct blood / urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.\n
• Correctly labels specimens and processes.\n
• Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies. Initiative.\n\nQualifications\n
• Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience required.\n
• Ability to perform CPR.\n
• PALS within 6 month required\n
• TNCC within 1 year required\n\nCompetencies Skills\n\nEssential : \n
• Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting\n
• Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal\n
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members\n
