Overview

Principal Business Development Manager (Finance)

As a Principal Business Development Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities for Honeywell. You will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and leading a team of business development professionals. You will report directly to our Sr Director of Business Development and work remotely but must be within easy daily access to locations with concentrations of Science and Technology (S&T) customers, such as Washington D.C. and Huntsville, AL.

As a Principal Business Development Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities for Honeywell. YOU MUST HAVE

Key Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of professional engineering / science-related experience with demonstrated competency in advanced engineering and / or research and leading advanced engineering / research technology development teams and programs.
  • 8+ years of experience with proven capability to grow and capture advanced technology R&D funding opportunities from Government Science and Technology agencies, or experience of developing externally executed programs within a Government S&T agency.
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US security clearance.

  • Effective written, verbal and listening skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong and active professional network of relationships at government Science & Technology agencies, universities, national labs, and private sector research organizations.
  • Ability to articulate strategies in clear, concise and decisive manner. Persuasive communication skills.

    Compensation : The annual base salary range for this position is $161,500 - 182,400. This salary is a general guideline and may be adjusted based on scope and responsibilities, experience, and other factors.
