- Human Resources Manager shall lead human resource operations, develop effective policies, and foster positive workplace environments. The Human Resource Manager shall manage talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite Human Resource support to facility management in all areas of human resources to include but not limited to recruitment, payroll, training, employee relations, scheduling, employee health and safety, employee recognition programs, compliance, employee records, workers compensation, and benefit program administration.Primary job tasks will include the full cycle of recruitment; screening, interviewing, onboarding (drafting job offers, orientation, facility tour, set up in HRIS and time clock), maintenance of time and attendance, inputting of garnishment orders, placing uniform orders, and employee benefit enrollments.Administrate and track required employee training, company policies and procedures, time and attendance records, coaching and counseling, employee leave of absences, employee performance, and maintain accurate information in the human resource information system.Maintaining employee files both physical and digital, processing and verify documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, complaints, performance evaluations, incidents, payrate changes, and medical leave documentation.Maintain relationships with staffing agencies, ensures accurate billing to time processed, and initial training complies with facility and governmental guidelines.Provide excellent service to employees by responding to various information requests regarding benefit eligibility, schedules, time off requests, payroll, and provide timely responses to employee inquiries and or concerns.Conduct employee investigations, providing conflict resolutions and issuing coaching and counseling notices.Oversee workers compensation benefit program, complete accident investigations, implements corrective actions, and ensures modified duty program is utilized and within limits of modifications.Organize, plan and conduct initial employee training and annual refreshers in compliance of safe quality food, state agencies, and federal agencies.Provide office support; answering phones, filing, assisting with front reception, ensuring office is presentable, greeting and assisting with visitors, providing tours of the facility, and any other additional duties customary of administrative staff.Must maintain a regular presence on the production floor and interactions with employees, keeping a pulse on employee happiness and company success.Promote a culture of safety and reporting any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions or potential hazards immediately.Maintain effective communication with coworkers, management, and supervisors.Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety standardsMaintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organizedMust follow good manufacturing practicesMust ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelinesParticipate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling.Perform other duties as directed by managementThese responsibilities are considered essential functions of the role and must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age or older3 years of experience in manufacturing or similar field5 years of experience within a managerial rolePreferred Qualifications
