General Description of Duties

Under the general direction of the Quality Director, this individual will be responsible for managing American Fruits and Flavors (AFF) Quality Assurance (QA) related inquiries, concerns, and projects, to completion. The Quality Assurance Technical Manager will interface with direct reports, external and internal clients, and colleagues. This role serves as a general QA information resource and provides technical guidance on QA and QC practices. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with those inside and outside the company.

Essential Job Functions

Technical Support :

• Serve as the primary QA information resource for internal and external clients.
• Support the creation, execution, and maintenance of QA procedures.
• Provide timely QA guidance and solutions to internal and external clients.
• Serve as a primary investigator for product quality and food-safety related inquiries or investigations.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Implement corrective and preventive actions based on data insights.
• Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve overall efficiency.
