Public Service Manager

The Iowa Department of Education seeks a dedicated Public Service Manager to :

• Administer, supervise, and provide leadership for the division.
• Provide guidance, coordination and oversight for higher education, including regulation, technical assistance, data and accountability.
• Work in cooperation with Bureau Chiefs to direct and evaluate programs.
• Lead and evaluate the efforts of the Bureau Chiefs and their staff to ensure programs and services are meeting the needs and expectations of the Department of Education and the public.
• Advise the Director on necessary decisions.

Hours : 8 : 00 A.M. 4 : 30 P.M., Monday Friday; some nights and weekends, occasional in-state and out-of-state travel
