Role Description

Responsible for maintaining the Quality Control, Environmental, and Safety Programs at the program level in support of assigned aircraft and support equipment. Coordinate with the Customer Quality Assurance Representative regarding quality matters, mandatory inspection points, and final acceptance inspection of contract end items or services.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems according to maintenance manuals and military publications.
• Perform quality, safety, and functional tests during maintenance, modification, and repair of military aircraft systems.
• Approve or reject work by field team members to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Review and approve locally developed procedures for complex repairs.
• Analyze defects and interpret quality control rejection and failure trends.
• Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and Foreign Object Damage inspections.
• Maintain records related to quality, safety, training, and certification.
• Inspect aircraft maintenance forms and records.
• Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to provide field support as needed.
