Facility Engineer 2 – Keep Snowmass Club Running Smoothly!

Reports to : Chief Engineer & Engineering Manager
Supervises : None
Do you take pride in fixing, maintaining, and keeping things running at their best? Snowmass Club is looking for a Facilities Engineer 2 to help maintain our facilities, residences, and equipment — ensuring members, guests, and staff enjoy a safe and seamless experience.
Schedule : 4 ten-hour days - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 10 am to 8 : 30 pm

What You'll Do
Leadership & Teamwork
- Support management and coworkers to maintain a positive work environment
- Assist the Engineering team in developing skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with all departments and colleagues
Maintenance & Repair
Perform general repairs to plumbing, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation, and building structuresMaintain and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice makers, and pool pumpsHandle basic maintenance tasks : painting, flooring, woodwork, and furniture repairPerform strenuous snow removal when neededDocument and write concise work ordersStay flexible with scheduling — including holidays and weekendsStay eager to learn new skills and seek additional trainingSafety & Reliability
Ensure all property and equipment are safe for staff, members, and guestsKnow and perform required roles during emergenciesKeep a tidy, organized, and safe work environmentAnd More
Complete other assignments as directed by the Chief EngineerWhat Makes You a Great Fit
High School diploma or GED (preferred)Post-secondary vocational / technical training in electrical, plumbing, AV, HVAC, or refrigeration (preferred)2+ years of maintenance experience in a business, institutional, or hospitality setting (preferred)Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learnPhysical Demands & Work Environment
Regular exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor weather, fumes, and chemicalsOccasional exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, vibration, or risk of electrical shockFrequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbsFrequent bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, and repetitive motionsContinuous standing and walking; occasional sitting or balancingNoise levels range from moderate to loudWhy You'll Love It Here
