Overview
Land Use & Zoning Attorney position with one of Long Island's prestigious and established law firms. This role is part of the Real Estate & Development group and involves advising clients on complex real estate projects across Long Island and the greater New York metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Provide land use and zoning counsel across real estate transactions, including transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters.
- Advise clients on complex development projects and navigate municipal approvals.
- Collaborate with a seasoned Real Estate & Development team in a highly collaborative environment.
- Represent clients before municipal boards when applicable.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.2+ years of experience in real estate law, with a strong focus on land use, zoning, and municipal approvals.Experience representing clients before municipal boards is highly preferred.Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.Proven ability to manage multiple matters independently and as part of a team.Commitment to client service and long-term relationship building.Base pay and benefits
