We are looking for a meticulous and organized Customs Entry Writer to join our team on a contract basis in Gardena, California. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of customs clearance and delivery operations for assigned clients. Responsibilities :

Input customs entries and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Collaborate with forwarders, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely shipment releases and deliveries.

Monitor inbound cargo, resolve any exceptions, and provide consistent updates to clients.

Prepare and maintain accurate billing records, reports, and documentation within internal systems.

Update and manage customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet service requirements.

Ensure all operations align with company policies and industry standards.

Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues proactively.

Identify cost-effective solutions for shipment handling and documentation accuracy.

Requirements :

At least 2 years of experience in customs brokerage or a related logistics field.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Proficiency in logistics systems such as CargoWise or similar platforms.

Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulations.

Typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; customs brokerage license is a plus.
