Sr. IT Operations Manager

As a Sr. IT Operations Manager, you'll manage and oversee daily IT production operations in a fast-paced environment within DoD logistics. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations Center, ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of IT systems and services. This role involves leading operational processes, monitoring critical infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless IT operations.

What you'll do :

• Oversee daily IT production operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems and services.
• Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, networks, and applications within a Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations Center.
• Respond to incidents, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT operations staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and incident management processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with other IT teams, including engineering and security, to resolve technical issues and implement changes.
• Monitor system alerts, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports and metrics to leadership.
• Manage change management and maintenance schedules to minimize disruption to IT services.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

What you'll need to succeed :

SALARY RANGE : $176,000 - $190,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including :
