The Screen Printer  prints lettering and designs with a screen-printing device on objects such as instrument dials, mechanical equipment, metal and plastic plates, and metal and plastic sheet rock.

The work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 30 p.m. Some overtime work may be required.

Essential Functions

• Fabricate holding fixture so that parts to be screened are held consistently.
• Position object against guides on set-up board or holding fixture of screening device and lower the screen.
• Pour ink into screen frame or dip squeegee in ink and draw squeegee across screen to transfer design to object.
• Clean screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors.
• Mix inks according to standard formulas.
• Examine printed object for defects and compare printing with supplied documents to verify adherence to quality requirements.
