$90.00 / hr - $100.00 / hr

Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Completion Engineer to join the team of a top upstream oil and gas operator. They will be working closely with the subsea team, however, they will be a part of the completions organization that is made up of 60 people, with individual teams of 7 members. They will be using WellCat & WellPlan to design wells including performing thermal production loads, tubing stress analysis and installation loads. The person in this role will also design and execute sand control completions, including gravel packing and frac packing. They will be providing project management, sourcing equipment, managing equipment and conducting shop visits.

Responsibilities

• Work within the completions organization (60 people) and closely with the subsea team
• Design wells using WellCat & WellPlan, including thermal production loads, tubing stress analysis, and installation loads
• Design and execute sand control completions, including gravel packing and frac packing
• Provide project management support, source equipment, manage equipment, and conduct shop visits
