We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving innovative electrical systems and technologies. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities :
1. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
2. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
3. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
4. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
5. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
6. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
7. Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
8. Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
9. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
10. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role.
3. Proficient in the use of design and calculation software.
4. Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and their components.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work well in a team and to take on a leadership role when required.
8. Strong project management skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
10. A keen interest in emerging trends and technologies within the industry.
11. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
