Facility Coordinator
Central Sterilizing Services is seeking a full-time Facility Coordinator on 1st shift. This position coordinates CSS administrative, operational, and building services and functions.
Responsibilities include :
- Monitoring compliance with machine and system training, PMs, routine testing and emergency and safety program development and training.
- Coordinating with CSS administration and management, multiple departments and vendors to oversee safe and compliant continuous production protective factors and downtime procedures are prioritized considered and communicated.
- Assisting in the support of building services.
- Supervising repairs and modification to building and department, equipment, and specialized environments.
- Enforcing compliance with building and department security processes and procedures.
- Gathering information and recommending products or services.
- Coordinating small and large-scale project work.
- Updating emergency and safety policies and procedures.
- Understanding and ensuring adherence to environmental health and safety requirements.
- Overseeing compliance with CSS machine repair procedures and documentation procedures.
- Chairing Execute Committee initiatives established by building management.
- Interacting with customers and vendor support staff to resolve routine problems.
- Reviewing, responding, and resolving complaints, services needed through ESC system.
- Managing building HVAC, Lutron, CCure systems.
- Monitoring expenses against established accounts.
- Providing input and suggestions to Onsite Manager on facility improvements and enhancements.
- Contributing to budget development.
- Knowledge of appropriate security levels for the building.
- Providing regular updates and feedback to CSS management and system partners.
- Providing functional support for CSS management.
Pay Level : 3B
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.1-3 year of experience working independently to coordinate projects, building operations, and / or events while demonstrating excellent customer service and producing quality.1-3 years of knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities in developing and maintaining physical facilities.Demonstrated planning / organizational skills with proven success working collaboratively in a team.Ability to work effectively and make decisions in ambiguous and complex situations with minimal supervision.Interest and ability to quickly learn new software and business tools.Experience working with facility-related reports and follows record-keeping requirements.Outstanding communication skills at the verbal, written and presentation level; superior customer service skills.Ability to wear a pager and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.Desired Qualifications :
Knowledge of University policies, procedures, operations.Experience writing policies and procedures and developing communication plans.Hands-on experience maintaining or coordinating the service / repair of commercial and physical facilities.Position and Application Details :
