job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssociate's degree or equivalent in Fashion Design, or a closely related field, and 5 years of experience in the offered position or closely related role. 5 years of experience designing handbags (including crossbody, hobo, waist bags, totes, mini bags, evening bags, minaudieres, and novelty shapes) and small leather goods (wallets, coin purses, leather trays, watch holders, bill folds, card cases, tech accessories). Experience with belts and soft accessories (gloves, hats, scarves); proficient in communicating design through sketches, computer renderings, and 3D mockups. Experience working with international and domestic factories and direct communication with pattern makers. Ability to create technical design packs for bags, small leather goods, belts, and soft accessories; include sketches, renderings, measurements, and specifications. Experience with European tanneries, selecting high-quality leathers for different constructions; fabrications for non-leather materials for handbags, small leather goods, and belts. Pattern draping and pattern making by hand and with industrial sewing machines; developing technical specs for hardware pieces for all product types. Ability to balance a product line in function, silhouette, and color; experience preparing for runway shows, styling for photoshoots, and presenting seasonal concepts to executive teams.

Research trends and develop strong concepts and ideas, maintaining a unique and sophisticated aesthetic. Create new designs for the main collections, bespoke and special projects (VIP, limited collections, etc.). Propose innovative ideas for color and material animations using sketching, rendering, and 3D software. Collaborate with the Merchandiser to ensure the range is aligned and developed as a coherent collection. Work with the R&D team for research, product development, and sampling. Participate in bespoke experiences, supporting the Bespoke Manager in guiding clients. Support the creative side of the business across all departments.
