- Technology-Forward : We aim to leverage advanced HRIS and ATS systems and automated workflows to eliminate bureaucracy and focus on what matters Structured for Success : We operate using proven frameworks that ensure clarity, accountability, and consistent achievement of goals Mission-Driven Culture : Our team members consistently report that the meaningful nature of our work is what keeps them engaged and growing Regulatory Excellence : Our strong 245D compliance record means you'll develop specialized expertise while ensuring the highest standards of care for supported individuals Core Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnership Develop and implement people strategies that drive business results across multiple service lines Partner with directors and managers to analyze workforce trends, anticipate needs, and create proactive solutions Lead organizational change initiatives using structured change management methodologies Facilitate quarterly planning sessions to establish clear priorities and measurable outcomes Use data analytics to identify patterns, predict challenges, and recommend evidence-based solutions Employee Relations & Culture Development Serve as a trusted advisor for complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations when needed Build programs that reinforce our values of serving others, collaboration, continuous improvement, resilience, ambition, and curiosity Create psychologically safe environments where team members can thrive and contribute their best work Design and implement retention strategies addressing the unique challenges of disability services work Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that reflect the communities we serve Performance & Talent Management Implement systematic approaches to performance management that provide clear expectations and regular feedback Develop career pathways that help direct support professionals grow into leadership roles Create succession planning strategies ensuring continuity of care for the individuals we serve Coach managers on having productive performance conversations and developing their teams Build talent pipelines addressing critical shortage areas in disability services Compliance & Risk Management Maintain knowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations from an HR perspective Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws while minimizing organizational risk Partner with quality assurance teams to maintain our strong regulatory standing Develop policies and procedures that protect both employees and the individuals we serve Stay current on healthcare workforce regulations and best practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field 5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated business partnership success Strong knowledge of Minnesota and federal employment laws Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Resources or related field SHRM-CP / SCP or PHR / SPHR certification Experience in healthcare, human services, or other mission-driven organizations Knowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations and disability services Experience with structured operating systems or accountability frameworks Background in change management and organizational development Essential Competencies Strategic Thinking Ability to see the big picture while managing important details Comfort with ambiguity and skill in creating clarity from complexity Data-driven decision making with strong analytical capabilities Relationship Building Natural connector who builds trust across all organizational levels Excellent communication skills—both listening and articulating ideas Cultural intelligence and ability to work with diverse populations Execution Excellence Self-starter who takes ownership and drives initiatives to completion Systematic approach to problem-solving with focus on root causes Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality Growth Mindset Continuous learner excited about developing new expertise Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback Innovative thinker who challenges status quo constructively Our Structured Approach to Success At BrightPath, we believe in creating environments where people know exactly what's expected and have the tools to succeed.
