We have a passion for elders and those who dedicate their lives to providing care.Based in Topeka, we are looking for an individual to coordinate and ensure the timely processing of Payroll and Accounts Payable for Graceteam Clients. This position also assists with employee benefits administration and the coordination / reconciliation of new hire setups and changes for client locations.Payroll Essential Duties : Generate and process payroll for selected Graceteam clients on a bi-weekly basis.Assist with HR duties as it relates to setting up new and / or editing existing employee profiles in timekeeping and payroll software.Work with Controller on importing payroll ledger entries into the general ledger system on a regular basis.Reconcile employee benefits as it relates to payroll, deductions and enrollment.Accounts Payable Essential Duties : Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices thru online invoice management and bill-pay service provider.Work with client locations on appropriate invoice documentation, coding and approval for processing invoice payments on a regular basis.Assist with W-9 and year-end 1099 management and reportingVerifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.Work with Controller on importing accounts payable ledger entries into the general ledger system on a regular basis.Assisting with other related duties as assigned.Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements : Minimum Associates Degree (or other 2 year degree) required, Bachelor's degree preferredPreferred knowledge and experience in long-term care, or health careMinimum 1 year experience in accounting / financeStrong work ethic, communication and problem-solving skills are necessary with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in an independent work environment. Adaptable and resourceful to meet deadlines.
