Compares and matches confirmations with telephone orders for accuracy. Timely processes change orders, quotations, material return authorizations and cost requests. Maintains and keeps current regional open order file. Monitors ship dates and advises customers of order status. Upon request, expedites and traces overdue purchase orders as well as figures freight costs. Timely follow-up on quotes and sample orders. Performs any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required. Timeliness of mail and telephone orders daily, accuracy of required reports and description clarification and plant assignment. Open order file current and correct. Accuracy of pricing. Proofreading and expediting current and accurate. Filing current and correct. Quotations, change orders, cost requests, and material return authorizations current and correct.
