Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years professional direct related experience in administrative work, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation or engineering; additional years of experience as described above are also required.
- A bachelor's degree from a college or university and three years of professional experience in administrative work, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation or engineering can substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference may be given to applicants havingadministrativeor clerical experience with the State of Florida'sprocurement procedures and working knowledge of Ariba on Demand, MyFloridaMarketPlace, P-Card system and policies, Laserfisch, or FLAIR.Requirements
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory Level 1 background check at no cost to the candidate.Office hours are from 8 : 00 A.M. to 5 : 00 P.M. This is an administrative position to provide high-level operational and administrative support to the staff in the Marine Mammal program.
The primary duties involve overseeing staff purchasing processes, including creating, processing, and tracking purchasing requisitions, contract management, and invoices, and assisting staff with credit card payments.Additional duties include managing section resources such as cell phones, property, and monthly fuel log submissions and serving as the coordinator for the annual open house "MarineQuest" event.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
