Responsibilities :

• Help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action.
• Communicate with clients on at least a weekly basis, keeping them informed of the status of their matter.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and marital settlement agreements, handle the division of marital assets, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases.
• Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation of clients.
• Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps.
• Confirm all work is consistently quality-reviewed for case law and written content / clarity.
• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases.
• Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed.
• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action.
• Keep client files properly organized and up to date.
• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed.

Qualifications :

Compensation : $100,000+ yearly DOE
