Quality Assurance Lead - 3rd Shift - Carrollton, TX

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations progress smoothly. They directly supervise and mentor quality assurance technicians in day-to-day operations, recommending improvements in production, quality, and safety methods and procedures. The team lead ensures departmental compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal, State, and Local regulations.

What you'll do :

• Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice.
• Ensure all proper Safety and Quality procedures are followed.
• Provide guidance to meet company standards on quality and performance.
• Encourage and demonstrate dedicated teamwork and supportive attitudes between team members and other departments.
• Ensure standards for the department meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee Product Testing and record all Work in Progress and Finished Product.
• Oversee the Pre-Operatives Inspection at the Plant Start Up.
• Review all HACCP Critical and Control Points.
• Ensure the quality schedule is maintained and communicate with interrelated departments if it is off track.
• Help team members by coaching and training them per company guidelines.
• Help to maintain the organizations lean and continuous improvement methodology by identifying and removing waste in the process.
• Perform inspections and conduct routine audits of work areas for compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by management.
