CFS has partnered with a long-standing Portland company in the design and materials industry to help them find a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Overview of the Role
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle AP processing, ensuring invoices and payments are handled accurately and efficiently. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting.
Key Responsibilities
Review, code, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies.
Match purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices for accuracy.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP, including accruals and reconciliations.
Maintain vendor files and ensure W-9 and other compliance documents are current.
Support the accounting and operations teams with administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
Requirements
Experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role.
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, and VLOOKUPs preferred).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Dependable, professional, and organized.
Work Environment
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Work Setting : 100% onsite in SE Portland
Dress Code : Business casual
Department Structure : Collaborative team reporting to the Controller and Operations Manager
$48,000 - $52,000
