Attorney - Workers' Compensation

Job Duties :

Conducting telephone and in-person intake of new potential clients

Day-to-day handling of workers' compensation cases, including reviewing records, providing updates to clients, appearing at status conferences, MSCs, depositions, expedited hearings and trials and representing the interest of clients

Negotiate settlements, review and revise settlement documents

Prepare and review pre-trial conference statements, trial exhibits and trial briefs

Prepare petitions / answers for removal and reconsideration, and writs

Represent the law firm at attorney seminars and conventions

Explore marketing opportunities to generate business for the firm

What You Bring :

Over 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law

Firm understanding of workers' compensation regulations and procedures

Litigation and trial experience

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Excellent research and analytical skills

Strong technology skills

Salary to commensurate with experience.
