Job Overview :
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of a fulfillment center team. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate execution of inbound, outbound, and inventory control (IC) processes. The supervisor will lead by example, driving performance, quality, and safety standards, while managing associate time and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Fulfillment Oversight : Coordinate receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and system check-in of incoming shipments. Ensure inventory is accurate, properly labeled, and stored according to company standards. Monitor vendor and carrier performance to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Oversee compliance with safety
- Outbound Fulfillment Oversight : Supervise order processing, picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Monitor carrier scheduling, shipment accuracy, and on-time delivery performance. Drive initiatives to minimize order errors, reduce returns, and enhance customer experience.
- Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 15 warehouse associates by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and recognizing achievements. Conduct team huddles, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to build skills and promote career growth. Address performance issues promptly and fairly while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-first culture.
- Process Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve accuracy.
- Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate stock counts for seamless fulfillment operations.
- Safety Compliance : Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all employees adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Reporting & Metrics : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
- Problem Solving : Address any operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions or workflow bottlenecks, and develop solutions to resolve them
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or fulfillment center environment.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfillment processes.High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus).Ability to stand for extended periods.Capability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.Willingness to work in various environmental conditionsQualifications :
