Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced attorney with 5-7 years of expertise in government contracting and procurement law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), government bid processes, and compliance issues. Litigation or dispute resolution experience related to government contracts is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities :
- Advise clients on all aspects of government contracting, including bid preparation, compliance, and performance issues.
- Navigate clients through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other regulatory frameworks.
- Draft and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Represent clients in bid protests, claims, and disputes before federal and state agencies, boards, and courts.
- Provide counsel on compliance with small business programs, including SBA programs and set-asides.
- Conduct training for clients on government contracting best practices and regulatory updates.
- Assist with audits, investigations, and enforcement actions related to government contracts.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the state bar5-7 years of experience in government contracting and procurement law.Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related statutes and regulations.Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage complex cases and projects independently.Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative mindset.Preferred Qualifications :
