Adjunct Faculty, Department of History and Political Science

Position Summary :

ABACs Department of History and Political Science is home to an interdisciplinary group of scholars who work together to offer courses in support of our USG-approved Core Curriculum and the History and Government B.S. degree. We seek qualified adjunct faculty to staff courses in History or Political Science. Part-time, temporary, adjunct faculty may instruct one or two courses a semester on an as-needed basis. Possible courses may include : United States History I or II, or American Government. These courses may be offered in a traditional face-to-face format or on-line depending upon the need. The Department of History and Political Science offers courses both at ABACs main site in Tifton and at the instructional site in Bainbridge. Applicants interested in teaching at either site are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree with a minimum of 18 credits of graduate coursework in either history or political science.
