Omega Fitness Holdings, D.B.A. Anytime Fitness is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage facility and equipment repairs across multiple locations throughout the Midwest. The right candidate can travel, has great communication and trouble-shooting skills, is highly organized, self-sufficient, and possesses exceptional facility and mechanical repair skills. Fitness Industry Preferred.
This individual will have experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, sheet-rock patching, painting, HVAC, and other maintenance-related fields. Must also be able to understand equipment operation. HS diploma is preferred. Must speak English proficiently.
This position requires travel 50-75% of the time with some overnights, but no travel Fridays or weekends.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Plans and schedules maintenance of the facility and equipment, including cost estimates to report to superiors.
- Initiates weekly, monthly, and quarterly planned maintenance programs for a variety of facility equipment.
- Responsible for the preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and plumbing.
- Manages the maintenance of the building, grounds, equipment, and gym facility.
- Inspects for broken or malfunctioning equipment.
- Ensures the working operation of the mechanical, electrical, and exercise equipment.
- Ensures adequate inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Conducts frequent walkthroughs of facilities to ensure all equipment is in working order.
- Oversee deliveries.
- Assembles any new equipment that the facilities receive on order (Torque racks, etc.)
- Possesses awareness and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Ensures high level of customer service.
- Personal accountability.
- Keeps in compliance with and stays up to date with all OSHA regulations.
- Be available to be on-call after hours should any plumbing, electrical, etc, emergencies arise.
- Be mechanically inclined and have an in-depth knowledge of tools and how to use them.
- Familiarize with all systems, safety measures, policies, and procedures that Anytime Fitness puts forth.
- Dress appropriately in prescribed Anytime Fitness uniforms.
- Keep all contact with members and guests strictly professional.

Schedule :
8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOn call as neededWeekends as neededWork Location : Multiple locations through Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan. Most locations are within a reasonable commute in Wisconsin, but travel overnight may be required to further away clubs. Guaranteed home and no travel on the weekends!
