About the Role :
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Perform detailed cost accounting and inventory analysis
- Reconcile standard costs to actual production costs and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with operational insights
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams to align financial data with business performance
- Assist with audits and prepare supporting documentation
