Senior Controls and Automation Engineer - Norfolk - Up to £80,000 - Hybrid / Remote Options + Benefits

We are seeking a Senior Controls and Automation Engineer to join a leading organization based in Norfolk. The role offers a salary of up to £80,000 plus benefits.

As a Senior Controls and Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include liaising with customers to understand their requirements, creating specifications, and designing systems. This may involve developing PLCs from scratch (preferably Allen Bradley or Siemens) or modifying existing code. About 10% of your time will be on-site overseeing commissioning and installation, with the remaining 90% office-based, hybrid, or remote depending on the arrangement.

• Experience as a Senior Controls and Automation Engineer or similar
• Experience developing PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
• Experience in the Utilities industry
• Knowledge of SCADA systems
• Understanding of Functional Safety
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 standards
