Job Description

As a Security Professional - Government Site Patrol in Orange, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned premises, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to incidents, and maintain clear communication with both team members and site personnel. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Remain alert and observant while on duty, addressing any security-related concerns or suspicious activity promptly and professionally.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
