Senior Compensation Manager
Location : Manhattan (On-site, 5 days / week)
Salary Range : $150,000 – $180,000 (base)
Job Type : Full-Time

We are seeking a Senior Compensation Manager with extensive experience driving compensation strategies in large, complex organizations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in administering and advising on complex compensation programs, including long-term incentive (LTI) plans and equity-based strategies, while serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic business partner on compensation matters, supporting large-scale commercial operations.
- Administer and oversee organization-wide compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives (STI), and long-term incentives (LTI).
- Participate in and analyze market salary surveys to maintain a competitive market position.
- Manage job architecture data, including job codes, descriptions, and families; maintain documentation and generate reporting to ensure equity and competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions within a centralized system.
- Conduct research and provide compensation recommendations for new roles, reclassifications, and adjustments.
- Perform detailed market analyses to assess trends and benchmark practices, with a focus on key geographic markets.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state compensation regulations, maintaining best practices in program design and execution.
- Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
Extensive compensation expertise gained in large, complex organizations and / or top-tier HR consulting firms (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson, Aon).Proven equity compensation expertise, including forecasting and designing total rewards packages with equity components.Strong knowledge of LTI programs and related compensation regulations.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas); experience with MS Access and Visio a plus.Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions across multiple business units.Skilled in handling sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality.Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.J-18808-Ljbffr
