Material Area Supervisor

What You Will Experience In This Position :
- Directly supervise employees, document standard operating procedures, and provide daily work direction, performance and personnel management
- Lead and facilitate daily operations of the Material area
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members
- Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
- Collaborate with other operations leadership and cross-functional teams
- Assist with implementing and maintaining RF material tracking system / equipment and drive velocity and accuracy improvements
- Participate in planning and overseeing cycle count and year-end inventory
You Have :
3+ years in Manufacturing, Materials, or Supply Chain2+ years of team leadership experience (manufacturing or construction preferred)Experience in Change Management and implementation of process improvementsStrong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling mannerKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts preferredAbility to efficiently operate computer programs, including Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of ERP systemsCurrent driver's license with a satisfactory driving recordWe Have :
