As the Production Area Manager in a PCBA Manufacturing Facility, you are responsible for leading and optimizing the production line. Your role ensures that area operations meet quality standards, production targets, and delivery timelines while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Production Oversight : Manage daily line operations including stencil printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, wave solder, X-Ray and AOI / AXI inspection processes.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and develop technicians and operators, ensuring proper training, performance management, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Process Optimization : Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, yield enhancement, and defect minimization using Continuous Improvement methods.
- Equipment Management : Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of various equipment (e.g., screen printers, placement machines, ovens).
- Quality Assurance : Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve process issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure IPC-A-610 compliance.
- Material Coordination : Work closely with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of components, feeders, and consumables for uninterrupted production.
- Metrics & Reporting : Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as first-pass yield, throughput, downtime, and line efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Interface with NPI, Test, and Final Assembly teams to support product launches and ensure smooth handoffs between production stages.

Proven experience overseeing manufacturing operations, preferably in high-mix, High and Low-volume environments.Leadership experience with a focus on mentorship, team development and successful execution of strategic direction.Proficiency in data analysis and manufacturing software (MES, ERP, SPC tools).ITAR REQUIREMENTS- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident, (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.Preferred Education and Experience
