Hardware Technician - Level 1 (IT Field Support Specialist)

Intelligence Community clients. We are looking for a talented and passionate Level 1 Hardware Technician

who would support one of our clients located in the

Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Candidates are required to have an active TS / SCI with Polygraph to

be considered for the position.

Job Description :

• Conduct site surveys; assess and document current site configuration and user requirements.
• Analyze existing requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Develop hardware installation schedules.
• Prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.
• Prepare site installation plans.
• Configure computers, communications devices, and peripherals.
• Train site personnel in proper hardware use.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Install and configure computer workstations, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and cabling.
• Maintain government and vendor fiber optic / Ethernet cables & telephone systems.

Salary : $31k - $71k depending on experience and contract. Excellent benefits include up to 3 weeks paid vacation, 11 paid holidays, immediate health care eligibility, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must possess a TS / SCI polygraph clearance.
