The Meter Installation Technician objective is to provide service for the installation of meters at utility Locations. Primarily responsibilities will include : Managing a daily schedule for work accomplishment, Accountability of Assigned Meters, Conduct work within a Work Order Management system, Removal of old meters, Installation of new meters for residential and commercial uses. High level of public interaction is required working in an outdoor environment.

Duties and core responsibilities include the following :

• Removal of old electric meter with the Re-Installation of a new electric meter
• Performs meter change outs per a specified manner.
• Conduct work through a Work Order system
• Manage all inventory of new and old Meters
• Working with utility personnel and utility consumers.
• Responsible use of a company truck

Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required.

Compensation (Paid Weekly) :

Average Earnings : $24 - $27 / hr
