Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - OB / GYN

The Women's Healthcare Group (Quivira and 435) is seeking a skilled full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient care team. This individual will work with our physicians and mid-level providers to provide outstanding care in our busy practice. This position would be trained in all clinical aspects of the office

The responsibilities of a CMA at Women's Healthcare Group include :

• Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Preparing patients and room for the health care visit
• Verify patient information; reviewing and / or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
• Supports patient care delivery
• Completes records by entering orders as directed by physician and recording test results into the Electronic Medical Record.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.

Starting wage range : $16-$17 / hr
