Administrative Assistant
Location : Gardena, CA
Pay : $32–$35 / hour
Schedule : Contract | Full-Time | On-Site
Department Level [70%]
- Manage and support accounting needs for the department (PO issuance, budget tracking, payment processing, etc.).
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and reserving rooms.
- Support department meetings : prepare agendas, materials, and coordinate logistics.
- Organize team-building activities and department events as needed.
- Manage fleet vehicles, including maintenance, tracking, and distribution.
- Support visitor coordination, scheduling, and resource management.
- Develop and maintain site processes (e.g., evacuation procedures).
- Create and deliver visitor training presentations on safety and resources.
Shared Services Office Support [20%]
Maintain and restock cafeteria and office supplies.Communicate supply needs and deficiencies with PPS.Organize and maintain mail rooms and hoteling areas.Support fitness center operations, including procurement and budget management.Oversee on-site vending and vendor communications.External Affairs [10%]
Support local community engagement and donation events.Coordinate charity drives and community partnerships.Lead “Adopt a Family” initiatives and similar outreach activities.Requirements :
Minimum 3 years of general office or department support experience.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Familiarity with SharePoint, Visio, and Project preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.English / Japanese bilingual skills (speaking, reading, and writing) preferred.Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Statement
