Job Overview :
The Low Voltage Security Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltage cabling and systems, programming and testing of CCTV, tele-entry, and access control systems.
Your Responsibilities :

- Installation, programming, and service of IP security camera systems and video management software.
- Installation, programming, and service of audio and video door entry systems.
- Installation, programming, and service of access control systems.
- Operation of cable testing and diagnostics equipment to ensure proper system performance.
- Install, test, certify and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) Cabling Systems.
- Provide testing, analysis, and repair of Video, Voice and Data Systems (i.e., Electronic Devices such as Gateways, Routers, Hubs, NIC Cards, and Telephone Switches, etc.).
- Meet all installation service deadlines.
- Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service / installation tickets and inventory items.
- Full compliance with company’s and customer’s safety program.
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance to required shifts, meetings, and trainings and related employment engagements to support position responsibilities and duties. Any alterations to required schedule must be reviewed and approved, in advance by your supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GEDMinnesota State Power Limited Technician License (Required)2-5 years of low voltage systems experience2-5 years of proven superior customer service skillsConstruction & Maintenance knowledge and experiencePhysical Requirements :

Compensation : $25 - $40 an hour
