Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Beaufort, SC 29902 (South Carolina nursing jobs)

Unit : 22-bed adult Medical Surgical Oncology unit

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (option to extend)

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), weekdays and every other weekend; floating and holiday coverage required

Hours per Week : 36

Start Date : November 5, 2025

End Date : February 4, 2026

Employment Type : Travel Nursing (W2)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1680

Scrubs : Royal blue / white (not provided)

EMR System : Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active South Carolina RN license (required for South Carolina healthcare jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience

BCLS certification required

IV start skills required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Comfortable with high patient ratios (5-6 patients per nurse) and floating between units

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Clear background and active nursing license required

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Medical Surgical Oncology unit

Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and other Med / Surg units as needed

Perform IV starts and manage central and peripheral lines

Administer medications, blood products, and manage surgical drains

Monitor telemetry and respond to rapid response / code teams

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services

Care for patients with diverse diagnoses : wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, acute kidney injury (AKI), dialysis, liver failure, oncology, and end-of-life care

Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR

Complete unit orientation and required modules prior to assignment start
