The Communications Specialist works with NCBEs communications staff to develop and deliver clear, consistent, and effective messaging that supports NCBEs mission, vision, and strategic plan. This position is especially focused on providing copyediting and proofreading of NCBE materials, while also contributing to the creation, coordination, and distribution of organizational communications across a variety of channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Copyedits and proofreads a wide range of materials, including external communications, leadership correspondence, technical and research reports, administration manuals, conference materials, blog posts, and website content.
• Ensures all communications meet editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and inclusivity, and reflect NCBEs voice.
• Provides writing and editorial support for external and internal communications across stakeholders and departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

The specialist may work remotely. NCBE will consider applicants from the following states : FL, IA, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, OK, PA, TX, WA, and WI.
