Leading social services organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities seeks a Licensed Psychologist to provide clinical evaluations, treatment, and support while assisting in the leadership and supervision of psychological services across our programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral evaluations, and prepare detailed reports.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based practices.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all ethical and regulatory standards.
- Offer professional consultation to interdisciplinary staff and program teams supporting clients.
- Supervise psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and designated staff under the direction of the Director of Psychological Services.
- Assist with administrative and supervisory functions within the department, contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, including completion of a one-year internship.Active New York State License as a Psychologist in good standing.Proven ability to administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological tests.Experience providing evidence-based therapy to individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred.Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Salary :
