Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) – Ohio nursing jobs Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry Ortho Unit 7K (28 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : January 31, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nurse contract Shift : 12-hour nights (PM); every other weekend and holiday Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred) Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide provided) Experience with surgical drains and post-op orthopedic patients preferred Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes Administer medications and manage IV drips, including Heparin and PCA (morphine, Dilaudid) Provide care for patients with orthopedic injuries (backs, necks, knees, hips), trauma, and complex medical conditions Manage lines, drains, and devices such as Hemovac, True-close, and JP drains Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient care coordination Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process Utilize Alaris pumps, hercules beds, and manage oxygen therapy as needed Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the healthcare setting Maintain professionalism and adhere to infection control and hospital protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Lima, Ohio!
