Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) – Ohio nursing jobs Facility Setting : Medical / Surgical Telemetry Unit (36 beds) Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 14, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nursing assignment Hours per Week : 36 Shift : 12-hour night shifts Patient Ratios : 1 : 4-5 Unit Features : Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, post-op drains, ports, PICC lines, chest tubes Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required) Minimum 1 year of registered nurse experience (required) 6 months of acute care hospital experience (preferred) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (preferred) NIH Stroke Certification (preferred) Dysrhythmia Exam (required; study guide available) Ability to titrate cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin) EPIC EHR experience (preferred) Navy blue scrubs required Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop individualized care plans Safely administer medications and follow hospital policies Coordinate patient care and communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Manage cardiac patients (chest pain, CHF exacerbations, pre / post cardiac cath) Care for patients undergoing alcohol detoxification Monitor and titrate cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin) Manage post-op drains, ports, PICC lines, and stable chest tubes Advocate for patient safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence Practice universal precautions and infection control protocols Apply now to join our healthcare team in Lima, Ohio and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
