Family Office Accounting Position

Position Summary :

This position offers an opportunity to join the accounting and operations team of a family office in a role that can be tailored to fit the right candidate's experience and skills. The position may range from an Accounts Payable Specialist, to a Bookkeeper, or to a more seasoned Accountant with family office experience.

Regardless of level, the ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This role will support day-to-day accounting functions, including bill payments, recordkeeping, and financial tracking, with the opportunity for growth into more complex accounting and reporting responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities :

Accounts Payable & Administrative Support :

• Open, review, and organize incoming mail, ensuring all invoices and statements are properly logged and tracked.
• Scan and attach invoices and bills into QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Prepare and process ACH transfers and check payments.
• Maintain an accurate record of bills received, paid, and pending approval.
• Respond to questions such as prior-year payment amounts or vendor history.
• Coordinate the signing and return of documents that require approval.
• Ensure timely payments and accurate recordkeeping for all outgoing disbursements.
