Oracle Data Base Administrator

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Oracle Database Administrator with strong interpersonal and technical skills. He / she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance, security best practices, create SOPs and other documentation, anticipate problems, and suggest solutions.

Required Qualifications :

• Candidate can work remotely from any locations within the U.S. This position may require travel to project location
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of experience on Oracle DBA.
• Should be an expert in RAC, ASM, RMAN, Oracle standby maintenance and Dataguard configurations.
• Should be an expert in Patching, Upgradation, and Migration activities.
• Should have prior experience on background in building large database infrastructures supporting high volumes of transactions in a mission-critical environment.
• Expertise in optimizing and performance tuning of databases including drill-down analysis.
• Hands-on Experience in backup and recovery techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline.
• Adhere to Work Instructions and SOP's.
• Providing On call support on a rotational basis.
