Field Service Technician II
Work Location : Taunton MA 02780
Hourly Pay Rate : $22
Work Schedule : Flexible scheduling, M-S (5 day work week) 8-5 Overtime and On-call between 5PM and 10PM rotating.
Duration : 10 / 13 / 2025 to 01 / 05 / 2026 - CONTRACT-TO-HIRE
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Field Technician to support restaurant technology systems, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, networking equipment, and other restaurant-specific hardware and software. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS :
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cable installation
CompTIA A+ and Network+ (or 5+ years of relevant experience)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder (up to 10 ft reach)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Responsibilities :
Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
HW and SW install and configuration experience
Terminate, test, and replace network cables (Cat5 / Cat6 / Cat7)
Train restaurant staff on new systems
Track hardware, software licenses, and inventory levels
Maintain secure and efficient network infrastructure
