RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinic Assistant to join our Pain Care team. As a Clinic Assistant, you will maintain the flow of a patient office visit by performing delegated medical functions in accordance with practice guidelines. Travel to several Rayus Radiology locations within the market may be required to meet patient care needs. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• 50% Patient Care
• Greet and room patients.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and measure their vital signs for the office visit.
• Instruct patients on care plan and discharge instructions per provider's orders.
• Instruct patients on proper collection of urine specimens.
• Process and maintain integrity of all specimens according to established protocol.
• Document in patient chart or electronic medical record according to established protocol.
• Obtain additional medical records for patient's appointment as necessary.
• 45% - Administrative Support
• Stock and clean exam room per clinic and infection control policy.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• 5% - Other tasks as assigned

Required : High School Diploma or equivalent; One or more years direct care experience; Nursing Assistant (NA), Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT); or diploma or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant (CMA) program.

Preferred : Preferred experience / degree / credential
