As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key part in coordinating responses and managing access control, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSun03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and coordinate communication between personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to various areas of the site as needed, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing calls, incidents, and activities in the dispatch log.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions related to site access and procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal and client policies by following established security-related procedures and protocols.
  • Assist in the coordination of emergency response activities, communicating with internal and external responders as necessary.
  • Conduct regular status checks with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain awareness of ongoing operations.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
